Green Light Means Go!
As I was waiting in the drive-thru for my *YUMMY* half-priced frappuchino, the lady in the car in front of me is being inconsiderate and annoying by pulling the "I'm not paying attention so I won't pull up" card. The reason this action is so bothersome to me is because at this Starbucks the drive-thru can leave your car's rear end hanging out into the main road of the shopping center. I am actually in the clear, but the car behind me is in danger and is right on my bumper trying to avoid a glancing blow. The lady continues to do this the whole way through the drive-thru line. I think she was probably texting which is even more annoying. I experience this quite often and more so when I am at a stop light. Doesn't it just drive you crazy when the light turns green and the car in front of you takes their sweet #$% time to get through it causing you and the remaining cars to get screwed and have to run through the yellow or red light? Why are people so inconsiderate? Don't we all just want to make the green light? C'mon people have a little common courtesy!

The Starbucks by my house is very busy too and sometimes there are cars lined up down the street. Have to pay attention in that line.

HAHA!! Seriously..this is a huge pet peeve of mine too. I ususally honk the horn and then get that sinking feeling like "ok..so, now everyone is looking at me as THAT impatient person." oppss - oh well, it is annoying and can be dangerous (esp. if it leaves someones tail end in the street:)) But...YAY!! for half priced fraps! I tried both the jave chip and the caramel this weekend - they were awesome. If you like the Somoa GS cookies - you should try the coconut mocha frap - it tastes alot like those:)

ReplyDeleteI love your rants, because they're all still so sweet. That is so annoying though- I think it's worse at Starbucks because they make their drive-thru's so curvy. Also, the new mocha coconut frap? To.Die.For!!!
ReplyDeleteMy kids are the ones who will start yelling at someone if they don't go when a light turns red. I try hard not to laugh.
ReplyDeleteThere are only 2 Starbuck's in town & only 1 of them has a drive thru--needless to say it's insane there!

So frustrating! We don't have Sbucks drive-throughs around here, but I wish we did!
